The Brighton Rainbow Fund grants made during the Autumn 2014/15 funding round:
- Accessibility Matters – £7,495 towards core funding costs, BSL signers at Pride and a Hate Crime Needs Assessment.
- Allsorts Youth Project – £5,000 towards delivering services to trans children and LGBT young people.
- Brighton and Hove LGBT Switchboard – £5,000 to pay for external clinical supervision for counsellors.
- Clare Project – £4,910 towards core funding costs and continued support for ‘Living Well Courses’.
- GEMS – £2,500 towards core funding costs.
- LGBT Community Safety Forum – £7,485 towards core costs, safety training and information sessions.
- Lunch Positive – £7,500 towards core funding costs and continued support for weekly lunches.
- MindOut – £4,889 towards Suicide Prevention Programme ‘Out of the Blue’ and continuing support for social group.
- Older and Out – £5,000 towards providing continuing support for social activities, lunches and representation for LGBT+ elders.
- Peer Action – £7,500 towards core funding costs, and providing complementary therapies and yoga sessions for people affected by HIV.
- RadioReverb – £3,000 towards sponsoring 52 one hour weekly radio shows for the HIV community called The HIV Happy Hour.
- Rainbow Chorus – £2,500 to establish a new singing group RC+ with more assessable rehearsal times with less pressure of performance, creating greater social inclusion.
- Rainbow Families – £2,580 towards funding a range of activities and events designed to engage older children within LGBT families to develop friendships.
- Small Groups Network – £2,820 towards meeting room hire costs.
- Sussex Beacon -£4,350 towards equipping Rainbow Fund Treatment Room for use of nurses and service users of the Sussex Beacon.
- Trans Alliance – £5,775 towards core funding costs and delivering Trans Awareness training to businesses and employers.
