Applications will be considered from local LGBT+ and HIV organisations, and from other organisations offering local LGBT+ and HIV specific projects.
Due to Weather and trains working to rule, Brighton Pride 2023 was less well attended than usual and thus the funds we currently have to distribute are less than usual. For this funding round (Autumn 2023) we will cap the amount that any project can apply for to £7,500. We will review our coffers in the Spring of 2024 and hope to be able to hold a second funding round in April 2024.
Priority will be given to projects run by volunteers, and where no paid administrative staff are directly involved.
Closing date for receipt of application form is 5pm on 20th September. We cannot accept applications submitted after this time as the grants panel need time to read all the applications before meeting up with applicants for the interview process.
All applicants will be asked to attend a meeting with members of the Independent Grants Panel to discuss their application. We can arrange for this to be done over Zoom if necessary.
As this isn’t a competition to find who can fill in a form the best, we will be happy to help with the process. Any queries should be made by using the contact facility on this website.
