Applications will be considered from local LGBT+ and HIV organisations, and from other organisations offering LGBT+ and HIV specific projects.
We will consider applications for core funding from small groups who are members of the LGBT Small Groups Network, and who attend regularly. Maximum for core funding this year: £1800 per organisation.
There is no maximum grant, nor maximum number of projects per organisation. We will not fund salaries. We are unlikely to fund social programmes this year.
Priority will be given to projects run by volunteers, and where no paid administrative staff are directly involved. Joint bids will also have higher priority over single bids.
Closing date for receipt of application form is 5pm on Friday 1st September. Successful applicants will receive the first instalment of the grant on October 1st by bank transfer. All applicants will be required to attend a meeting with members of the Independent Grants Panel on September 8th, daytime, to discuss the application.
A presentation evening will be held mid October to formally recognise the successful applicants, and their projects.
As this isn’t a competition to find who can fill in a form the best, we will be happy to help with the process. Any queries should be made by using the contact facility on this website.
